Our son’s first solo train ride was a baptism of fire. What should’ve been 4-5h became 8h+. Had to switch trains 5 times instead of 2, with 2h delays. At his last stop, they closed the station for an hour with heavy police presence. Quite the adventure for his first independent journey!

Finished reading: Isles of the Emberdark by Brandon Sanderson. I read the e-book, but I also got the print edition in the mail yesterday. Half of the book is white text on black pages! I’ve never seen this before in a novel. 📚
