No idea why people constantly fiddle with cross-posting and what to post to which service. Seems like a whole lot of busywork to me.
I get that different people have different needs. I for one am perfectly happy with the way Micro.blog works. I have enabled cross-posting and it just works.

Would you believer it? Not a single mention since I installed the Micro.blog beta build with a fix for notifications. Help me out here folks. Give me some love.
I rewrote my webcatcher Python script yesterday. It is now leaner, meaner and more resilient against failed downloads. Links is coming together nicely. Pretty much all that is left is a nicer CSS for mobile devices and a web daemon so I can send stuff to Links from my iPhone.
Trying to decide between Trafilatua, Newspaper 4K and Readabilty for my Markdown and PDF creation.
